All our charity activities will be better with your donation. We call on fundraising from anything that you can.
A Human for Human Interest NGO works with underprivileged and less fortunate people in the slums. The NGO is run by two young men, Auztynn Shimray and Reuben Angkang, brought together by their shared compassion towards the cause of helping the less privileged in the society.
Auztynn Shimray, a young man of 30 age, has been working closely with the slum people for the past 5 years, leaving aside 25% of his earnings for this cause. He had been providing the slum children with basic necessities like foods, clothing, school uniforms, books, pencils etc. Auztynn’s compassion for the less privileged stems from him being an orphan who was left to fend for himself at a very young age; familiar to starvation and homelessness. Auztynn is now married to a lovely wife, Themchui . Auztynn is the co-founder of ‘A Human for Human Interest’ wishes to continue his deeds of helping the poor through this NGO.
Reuben Angkang, the co-founder of ‘A Human for Human Interest’ NGO, is an artist specialised in paintings, sculptors and handicraft, based out of New Delhi. He is married to Sothingla Angkang and has a daughter, VLan Angkang. Reuben has been extensively involved with children ministry in slum areas of North Delhi from 2005 to 2008, and still visits them time to time with his family. He is passionate about helping and teaching slum children artistic works such as paintings, handicrafts and sculptors so that it would help the children make a living from the skills acquired. Reuben graduated from KPJ Prabhu Artisians Institute Bangalore (2009 to 2011).
With this shared common passion towards empowering the less privileged, Auztynn Shimray and Reuben Angkang is determined to create a maximum impact and touch many lives.
As of the current year, the NGO will be operating out of a rented one-room-classroom in Mahommadpur where slum children will be taught the basics of elementary education and other skills such as handicrafts, painting etc. that they can use in the long run to earn a living.
Therefore, we take this opportunity to seek your assistance, to help us monetarily in helping the poor and the needy. We believe that these children, given the right direction and support, have everything they need to be great artists and great people. This could potentially take them off the streets and heed towards an honest living.
We look forward to your unceasing generous help.
Thank you.
Warm wishes,
Auztynn Shimray (co-founder)
Reuben Angkang (co-founder)
